The Emergency Info App aims to play a role in this situation by providing accurate and easily accessible information to the first help responder that is treating you.

As a first step: a clear and distraction-free icon. A home screen layout differs from person to person, and finding a particular app can be difficult for someone new to it. And nothing attracts the attention more than a bright red color and an exclamation point.

The second step: presenting the information. This should be short and to the point. In an emergency, every second count. And time wasted by scrolling through an app and reading lots of sentences isnt a good thing.
After careful consideration of what information is important, how to show it, and still be relevant to you the user. The decision was settled on an information section category layout. You can choose from different information sections and in each section, you can enter the information that applies to you. Your allergies, specific medical conditions that you have, or certain medicines that you are taking.
With customization, you can choose whats important and relevant to you and show this on the first and most important screen of the app. The info that could save your life.

Emergency Info was designed in a time where privacy wasnt playing a big role for an average user. Most users wouldnt use a lock pin code and anyone who got hold off to your iPhone could unlock it.
A big red icon to catch the attention and display important information about you when you got into an accident.

But throughout the years with each iOS software update and added features to your iPhone, think of Touch ID and Face ID, unlocking your iPhone isnt as easy as it used to be.

Emergency Info placed a part of the information in the Widget section of the application. An emergency first responder could still see some information about you when the turn on the screen and swipe right to see the widgets.

New in this update Emergency Info has added the option to let you create a custom Lock Screen photo with your emergency information and who to contact when you got into an accident.

From the main screen, tap Export, select a photo, and save it to the default Photo Library.
Start the Photo Library App, select the photo, tap the action button, and select" Use as Wallpaper".
